Common Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We are approved providers with several insurance companies (e.g., Medicaid, Aetna, Anthem , Cigna Behavioral, Health Plan of Nevada, etc.) as well as other funding sources (e.g., ATAP, DRC respite, Olive Crest, etc.). Feel free to contact us directly for more specifics regarding your insurance provider.
How do you create the groups?
Group members are placed according to several variables (e.g., age, purpose of entering program, personality, interests, skills/deficits, group learning abilities, etc.) in order to maximize the potential of organic and meaningful relationships.
Who will be working your child?
At least one BCBA will lead all therapy sessions (both 1:1 and group). Additional behavior interventionists and/or trained peer mentors are also used to promote natural presentation, generalization, and maintenance of skills.
What curriculum do you use?
Thorough formal and informal assessments are used to develop individualized programming based in ABA methodology. Each BCBA designs and implements customized social skills programming/curriculum to target specific needs rather than a "one size fits all" type approach.
Do you provide "comprehensive" or "focused" treatment plans?
Our focused plans aim to assist individuals with autism who already have a strong foundation in behavior/language skills, but may need more direct/"focused" teaching around some higher level social/communication deficits.
