NLC offers skill building therapy sessions consisting of individual, clinical group, and naturalistic group settings directly delivered by a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). All treatment plans are based in ABA and are utilized to bring about meaningful and positive changes in behavior. The emphasis is on positive social interactions and enjoyable learning for individuals.
Julie Richards and Karen Machay, NLC’s Directors and owners, have been a driving force in Las Vegas special education for a combined 30+ years. Their passion for an inclusive developmental education system led them to continue their education/training, earning Master in Education degrees and becoming Licensed Behavioral Analysts / Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
As teachers, they saw a critical need for developing personal and vocational social skills outside of what the local educational system could offer. This need is what birthed Next Level Connections. They wanted to create a resource that could close the gap between the classroom and the real world.
